The Monster High dolls are adorable. My daughter loves them and I like the twist that these dolls have from traditional Barbie beauties, too. Each of the dolls is about the price of a Barbie – just around $20. We love to play with these and the Barbie girls and the Bratz dolls – like they’re all different cliques in high school.
Then of course we have the Bieber dolls, Ken dolls, One Direction guys and so on. It’s hilarious! There are always new Monster High dolls coming out, but here are the new ones as of this writing that are bestsellers among young girls today:
#1 – Monster High Travel Scaris Jinafire Long Doll
This character is great because she’s in the storyline where the Monster High girls are going on an adventure abroad. So she comes with travel clothes and a suitcase that rolls. She also has a diary she can jot down her journey in.
They’re headed for the city of Scaris. The Monster High Jinafire doll has jewelry to accessorize her outfit. Consumers are raving about Jinafire – not only because she’s one of the more rare Monster High dolls, but because the detail of her beauty is so intricate. She has a scaly body and long green and black hair. Her outfit is Asian inspired. Really pretty! And she has a tail that you can remove.
#2 – Monster High Travel Scaris Skelita Calaveras Doll
This is another of the travel Monster High girls. She comes with her rolling suitcase and travel clothes. But it’s what’s under those clothes that makes the Monster High Skelita doll so unusual!
She has a visible skeleton. And the details of the skeleton amaze most of the parents who bought this doll for their kids.
She comes with a really pretty, colorful Mexican dress and some wedge heels. Her makeup is unique. Her long hair is black and a deep copper color.
#3 – Monster High Nefera de Nile Doll
Boy if I was a monster, I’d want to look like this Monster High doll! She’s the daughter of the Mummy and big sister to Cleo de Nile. She’s beautiful – nothing monstrous about her at all. She has gorgeous cat eyes and an outfit and accessories that have that Egyptian look.
The Monster High Nefera de Nile doll comes with a pet scarab beetle Azura. Her accessories are awesome – my favorite is her snake necklace. She also has an Egyptian hairpiece that looks like Cleopatra.
Because she’s a big sister, she looks older than the other Monster High dolls. She’s a little taller and looks like an older teen.
#4 – Monster High Travel Scaris Rochelle Goyle Doll
This is my favorite Monster High doll for fashion reasons. The Monster High Travel Scaris Rochelle Goyle doll has a beautiful pink and gray outfit. And her rolling suitcase matches her attire.
Her hair is pink and blue and she has some little gray wings poking out of her back. Her outfit has a screen image of the Eiffel Tower on it.
Some of the consumers who own this say they bought the Scaris Scooter to go with it. It’s not actually a scooter, but more like a VW bug looking car – but it matches her outfit perfectly!
#5 – Monster High Operetta Doll
Now the one I’m showcasing here is actually a better bestseller than the other one I’m going to also link you to. But there are two Operetta dolls in the top 100 list, so I wanted to show you both. This Monster High Operetta doll shown here comes with a pet spider called Daddy O Longlegs. The doll is the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera.
But there is also the Dot Dead Gorgeous Operetta doll. This one has a sort of 50s flair. She’s accessorized to the hilt – beautiful jewelry that has spider webs, and more. And even her purse is precious!
Both of these dolls are cute additions to the Monster High hallways.
#6 – Monster High Dance Class Howleen Wolf Doll
The Monster High school has lots of classes – and for the dance class, there’s a whole line of dolls you can include. The Monster High Dance Class Howleen Wolf doll has a hip hop outfit.
Her hair is bright pink and she’s a sassy looking thing! The outfit is all one piece, even though it looks like two pieces. She comes with accessories, too – like her paw print headphones.
She comes with a little purse looking boom box that she carries around. Consumers loved that her hair was so soft.
#7 -Werecat Sisters 2 Pack – Meowlody and Purrsephone
This one is actually a 2-pack, but it’s one of the top 10 most popular buys in the Monster High world right now. It’s the Werecat Sisters – Meowlody and Purrsephone.
In case you can’t tell, they’re very cat-like! They’re dressed in cute little red, white and black outfits – miniskirts and vests.
They have little cat ears and their hair has a cat print on it, too.
They have really cute black boots and each of them has a cat tail protruding from their outfit.
#8 – Monster High Venus McFlytrap Doll
This one was one of my favorites. The Monster High Venus McFlytrap doll is the daughter of the plant monster. I love Venus Flytrap plants so this doll rocks. She is green and pink and she has vines growing on her arms and legs. Her lips have several “fangs” – not just two like the vampire dolls have.
She comes with a pet venus flytrap called Chewlian. She has a punk rock style – half of her head is shaved and the other portion is streaked in color. But she’s very beautiful.
The shoes she wears even have teeth at the toes – she’s a vicious doll.
#9 – Monster High Dot Dead Gorgeous Lagoona Blue Doll
My daughter has the Lagoona Blue doll and I love it. She has a strapless dress and an overlay of pink. It has blue trim and polka dot accents on the dress for the dot-theme. On her middle is a starfish and she has a shell accessory in her hair.
The shoes are translucent pink with a silver glitter. Because the whole theme is dots, the Monster High Lagoona Blue doll decided to make her dots “pearls” so you’ll see pearl accents all over the place.
She comes with accessories too – her purse, a seashell compact and a cell phone.
#10 – Monster High Picture Day Draculara Doll
Monster High, like any other school in the world, has picture day. All of the Monster high girls will do their best to look stunning for their yearbook pictures and the Picture Day Draculara doll is just that – stunning!
The colors are hot pink and black – and she has a beautiful girly girl goth outfit. She wears high boots and her long hair is put up on the sides and left down in the back. She has pink stripes in her black hair.
The Draculara doll is very accessorized, with earrings, a purse, and a beautiful bow at her waist.
Of course any of the Monster High dolls are adorable. But these 10 are the top sellers right now. The problem is, they’re hard to find locally, so you almost HAVE to order them online. That’s not bad if you find free shipping, which many outlets have now.
